Beliefs and Values I heard a segment on NPR tonight that I thought might be useful for our discussion and understanding of rhetorical appeals to values. "This I believe" is as audio essay series featuring famous and average Americans discussing...well, their beliefs. These aren't the sort of essays that would work well for the assignment, but they do help define some of the diverse beliefs and values we hold as Americans that you should consider as you analyze your text.

This series is actually a modern update of one originally broadcast in 1951.
